First Post!

After moving to Beijing from Philadelphia in December 2011, I have meant to start a blog documenting our move and travel. But it only took me a month or two to realize all blogs that are not self hosted (like blogger, wordpress.com) are blocked. It was actually a very disturbing month, because every time I google "Why can't I log onto blogger", or other things, half the time the results returned are well, posts on someone's blog, unreadable because the blog is blocked. 

But I learned, although not quickly. After seven months of simply being too lazy, I guess it's time to start writing and preserving our memories. And it has been a fun seven months, and I'll slowly get to it.
